I believe that you have installed the Joomla 1.5 version of KC Admin QuickIcons rather than the 1.6 version. Try installing the 1.6 version and your problem should disappear .

HI, I am using Joomla 1.6.2 and I had this error after activating the module and returning to my control panel.

Fatal error: Call to a member function isAdmin() on a non-object in /path_to/server/public_html/administrator/modules/mod_kc_admin_quickicons/helper.php on line 29
