Hi, yes they are different: spanish version has item ID 794, french has item ID 980 etc etc

The module itself has an option to enter custom url for register but it doesnt work in multilingual unless you create duplicates of the module an assing it to each language with their custom URL, so basicly creating a login module for each language.

Thats the main reason why we donwloaded your plugin, to redirect all languages to the main VM register and it partly does it.. but in the wrong VM page.

There must be a way to solve that which im missing.

Hi,

Are their different menu items for Register for the different languages?

Can you set/force the menu item id in the Register module to be the My Account menu item?

Hi laurelle

We have a my account menu item set up and also a edit/add address.

We do have itemid when we click in those menus but not when we click register from the register module.

Could it affect the fact that is a multilingual website?

Hi,

Do you have a My Account menu item setup? Try setting that up and see if that makes any difference. Since, you don't have an itemid on the end of the URL string, that indicates that no itemid has been setup.

Hi

Thanks for reply.

We are using joomla 2.58, virtuemart 2.018b and your plugin version 1.2.0

Disabling SEF solves it and the plugin redirects to the correct page and enabling again causes the error.

Sorry I don't see any itemid at the url clicking register in the module, the non sef url shows these: index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=user&lang=es

Regards

EDIT: Using PHP 5.2 in case that matters.

Hi,

What version of Joomla, VM & the KC VM Registration Redirection plugin are you using?

The latest version 1.2.0 for Joomal 2.5 & VM 2.x is redirecting to: /index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=user. Maybe the Itemid it is using has been set to your edit address page instead of registration page. Try turning of SEF URLs and see what Itemid it is using and what menu item that corresponds to.

Hi

Thanks for this plugin.

However im really surprised that no one has noticed that the register link for Virtuemart is not correct.

Your plugin is redirecting to the "add/edit addresses" and not to the customer account which is the correct register page for virtuemart.

Your plugin redirects here: test.comenaranjas.com/en/my-account/add-edit-addresses

And the correct page view for the register is this one:

test.comenaranjas.com/en/my-account

They may seem similar but is not the same to create an account than to edit addresses.
