Hello,

Ah, you didn't say that it was a template problem in the initial message.

Here is one way to fix the problem. If you don't already have one, create a menu that is not displayed anywhere on your site. I call it something like hidden menu. Then in this new menu create a link to the registration page. Now you can go to the template manager and assign the VM registration page to use your other template. Then when someone is redirected to the registration page, they will get the other template.

Cheers.

Thanks for the quick reply.

It is directing to the link you provide. If I go straight to that link it does the same in that the URL stays as it should but I still get the front page template instead of the correct one.

I think this may be related to an ongoing issue with VM in that it does not handle multiple templates adequately.

Hello,

Do you have anything in your .htaccess file that could be doing the redirection?

This is the link that the redirection plugin uses: index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.registration. Try going to yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.registration and see what happens. If that works properly, there must be some other plugin or code that is interfering with the VM redirection plugin. Look at the order of your plugins and your .htaccess file.

Good luck.

Hi,

I have installed this plugin and it seems to work in that the URL does look like it's pointing to the VM shop.registration link. However it is taking me back to the homepage of my site.

Any ideas ?

Cheers,
Trev.
