Hi,

I have added text shadows and linear gradients to the latest releases of this plugin. Please try it out and let me know if you have any questions.

Hi,

I have a 1.5 version of the Cufon plugin, you would just need to make the same changes as were made to the 1.6/1.7 version.

it's absolutely possible, but i don't know of a plugin that integrates cufon with 1.5. if you want to add cufon to your template manually, it will work just fine.

This is great! Can this be done for Joomla 1.5 as well?

Here are the modifications I made, packaged and ready to install.

I modified the XML and language files in accordance with normative standards and added/changed a few lines in the php file. All pretty simple stuff.

[Note to anyone using this:

Font shadows attributes should be entered in the format defined here:

cufon.shoqolate.com/examples/text-shadow.html

They're supposed to be in the same format as the CSS property defined here:

www.w3.org/Style/Examples/007/text-shadow

Enjoy.]

Regards to the developer.

I've modified the standard KC Cufon plugin to include support for the textShadow property from the administrative interface. The contact page is broken, so if the developers are interested in incorporating my modifications into their releases, they're invited to contact me. Alternately, I can post my modifications here, with their permission.
