Hi,

Oh, I see. I'm using a template engine that creates the template so it must be how that is generating the headline texts.

I'll look into it.

There didn't seem to be any link to the resources you mentioned.

Thanks for your help,

Dave

Hi,

The way that your h1 and h2 are done is very strange and that is causing you your issues in IE. Here is a resource for how to do IE browser hacks: http://css-tricks.com/how-to-create-an-ie-only-stylesheet/ .

You would probably be better to fix the html and css in your header than to do the browser hacks. Check your site on smart phones and tablets, you will probably find issues with the layout in them as well due to the way the css is done.

Your problem doesn't have anything to do with Cufon, it is all CSS problems.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, the url is www.fhf.davesagedev.co.uk

Any pointers in terms of how I might perform those overrides in IE would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi,

Probably best to use browser hacks/overrides for IE to fix the problem in IE. Get it to look proper in FF and then just override IE.

To help more, I would need a link to the page with the issue.

Hi,

I'm using font replacement on some header text but IE and FF are spacing the fonts differently which is making letters overflow into another bit of text, could you help me understand how to fix this?

using J2.5 latest, latest cufon and php 5.3

I've attached screenshots showing the spacing issues
