Font alignment in top menu

Hi,

Are you sure that you have IE9 in IE9 mode, not IE7 mode? With IE9 you can set it to view the site in IE7 mode, IE8 mode or IE9 mode. When I viewed the site in IE9 mode, it looked like FF but when I changed it to IE7 mode, then the fonts moved down to be centered vertically.

You need to make the menu like you want it to be in FF and then add browser IE hacks for the different versions of IE to get it to display properly in them. If you look at the site in Chrome, Opera or Safari, it will look the same as FF. IE is the odd browser out, so that is why you hack for it rather than FF.

You were locked out last night, because the system thought that your forum post was a spam post, so it disabled your account and unpublished the forum post. Unfortunately, I get a lot of spam, so have had to install a component that tries to remove it, not always perfect, but pretty good.

Hi,

The site looks the same in IE9 and FF. IE7 has the menu font down a bit. So, what you need to do is get the menu aligned in FF like you want, then it should be the same in other modern browsers and IE9. Then add IE specific hacks for IE7.

Hi,

I would need a link to your site to help you with your issue. But you will probably need to put in some IE specific css to fix your issue.

BTW you should really upgrade to Joomla 1.5.25 for security reasons.

Having isssues with the font alignment in .art-hmenu

In Firefox font aligns to top. In IE font displays correctly in the center.

Changing padding in css not and option because it will mess it up in IE then.
