Hi,

Whether you site will validate or not will depend more on the extensions that you are using. If you can get a normal website to validate with the Strict document type, you should be able to get your Joomla website to validate, but you may have to hack some code in your extensions.

You can try using Cufon without the Strict document type and see if you run into any problem with IE. You might be better off asking the Cufon developer this question.

The KC Cufon plugin extension will validate with a Strict document type.

Good luck.

Hi,
I understand I need to update Docktype to Strict.

It is important that all our clients' websites are validated by w3c. From w2c validator, I see 3 errors for keashly.net. All 3 error messages say "This error is often caused by incorrect use of the "Strict" document type..."

Is it possible for us to install KC Cufon (with strict doctype) AND validate website?

Thank you very much
