Thanks for a speedy reply - I will give it a go and get back to you if I get stuck. It shouldn't be slow as its the same font for all variants

Hi Mike,

I don't want to add that many options to the version I have for most people to use. That is just asking for a slow website as some people will try to have 16 different fonts. Then they will blame the plugin for being slow.

I would have to make up a special version for you or you could make the changes yourself.

Open up kc_cufon.xml and change the parameter num_fonts to have more options, you could just add <option value="16">16</option> if that is the exact number that you need, otherwise you would have to add an option for 7 - 16.
Then copy lines 85 to 93, 10 times. For each one of these blocks you will need to change the number in these lines (all the 6s to 7s for the first block all the 6s to 8s for the second block etc.).

Next open up the language file which you will find under /administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_system_kc_cufon.ini. Copy lines 74 to 84, 10 times and do the number changes on each block (all the 6s to 7s for the first block all the 6s to 8s for the second block etc.).

I think that is all the changes that you would need to make.

Cheers.

At least 16! Because I have a lot of different module styles in one design and the headers all need styling separately, together with menus and content

Hi,

How many more fonts descriptors do you need? I though 6 was probably pushing it, but more can be added.

Hi

I have a complicated website design, which requires more than 6 font replacement rules. These are in fact all for the same font, but need to be tied to very specific css descriptors and sizes (for various module headers, menu items, headings etc etc).

Is there an easy fix to extend the number of font replacements beyond th 6 provided or alternatively can I pay to get the plugin extended?

Many thanks

Mike
